Employment

I got a job offer today and for that I am grateful. The mood was dampened because there are folks I have worked with for years who will not get an offer. Consolidation, shifting work and a declining economy all were at work here.
While I feel fortunate to have a job, my heart goes out to all of those people who will be without a job in a few weeks.
