Wild daisies

Driving home this week, we passed a neighbor's pasture. Beyond his fence is cows, horses, and a carpet of wild flowers.
Sometimes on early spring mornings, a veil of mist hangs over the creek that flows through the property and the scene looks ethereal.
I pulled to the side of the road just as the sun peeked over the hillside and snapped a photo of these wild daisies.
Tonight as I flipped the the photos on my iPhone to find a picture to post, my thumb landed on this picture. I knew at once what my post tonight would be about.

  1. Lots of wild daisies gave their lives to foretell my love life: if she loved me. pulling the pedals and saying in sequence, she loves me, she loves me not, she loves me, she loves me not, etc.

  3. I love looking at fields of flowers I wish they would allow a carpet of flowers to grow in grave yards. They have these small flowers and even if you cut them down they grow again and makes it look so nice. To drive by farmers fields full of scents and flowers and sunflowers...
    well its just awesome!

  4. Greetings Rick,

Good morning from England. A wild yet gentle ambience captured in that photo of free flowing daisies.

    Be well, my friend.

  5. Rick, love the lazy daisies and summer days...
Hubby spent some of his day cutting down some trees that got twisted in the storm of a ladies home that needed help! What a blessing it was for him to be able to use the chainsaw and help get a stack of firewood for them to burn when the snow flies.
    Blessings, Miss Roxy
