The sky had been remarkable this month. I guess sky each day paints a million pictures that are nevered admired.
We are too busy. We drive, we work inside, we cut grass, we meet, we talk, and we have smartphones hardwired into our lives, while the sky, like a full color Etch-a-Sketch, changes from moment to moment.
I'm not being preachy here, because I'm probably the worst of the lot.
But every now and then, when I least expect it....I look up and see something like this. I was so taken by the sky at this particular moment, that I'm surprised that I thought to snap a photo.
Now I'll have it to remind me to look up now and then.

I love gazing at the sky... for sunsets, sunrises... clouds, stars and the moon.. I love all of it... it is pretty amazing but I think you are right, sometimes we are glued to our phones and miss beautiful sights... oh and I love to see rainbows :)
ReplyDeleteYes, we do have to remind ourselves of the beauty we have seen. So many changing canvases are painted a day, for us to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. We have our usual sky: a few minutes of sun followed by overcast followed by a thunderstorm and then back to sun very briefly until it goes down.

I often have the same thought as I look out at a sunset or sunrise! Nature is so beautiful, and we not only forget to look, but to listen as well. That's why I video taped the ocean, so I could hear and see it, when I can't be there in person.
