Jilda and I played a listening room venue tonight in Birmingham. We opened for a young songwriter that played Celtic harp and also a guitar.
She'd been to Ireland with her family a few years back. Before the show, we talked about our times there. It seems that she too felt as if she were leaving home when she left there.
I didn't have a picture, so I dug back through the archives for one of our bottle tree. It has nothing to do with the post, but that's the way it sometimes goes.

There is a link between your bottle tree and the post. That green made me think immediately of the Emerald Isle (where I have not been).
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of Celtic harp and a regular harp too. Such a beautiful sound.

I do love celtic music. Nice you had the opportunity to be a part of the show. Love your bottle tree too!
ReplyDeleteIreland is one of the places I really would like to visit. It has been years since I saw a bottle tree. It was a nice look back.
ReplyDeleteDear Rick, the bottle tree makes me, like Elephant's Child, think of Ireland because of the Emerald Green bottle. I was there for about three days way back in 1978. Such a beautiful country and the people there so welcoming. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI love your bottle tree. I have always wanted to do one of these.
