Jilda and I love visiting our state and national parks. Several years ago we visited Desoto State Park in North Alabama.
There's a creek that runs through the park. Little River Canyon is there too. I think this photo is upstream.
The blog is slim pickin's tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
Shucks, I used to enjoy Slim.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy waterfalls no matter how big, broad or small they are. Something about the sound of water crashing down.
Try to be good up there!
As strange as it seems all I could think of when I heard the words slim pickings was a slim man picking on a guitar. I'm thinking there was a real Slim Pickings but don't recall.
ReplyDeleteBetter slim picking's than no pickings at all... We had a tall beautiful water fall about half hour drive from here and it was, called Pokiok Falls. My husband says that it was about 50 to 60 feet high. It was submerged under water in 1967 when they built the Mactaquac Dam. We took a picture of it before it was submerged.
