Time change makes me wonky. Jilda is even worse. Some people love it when the time changes, but to be honest, I don't trust people that support time changes.
If you do a little research, it's obvious it's a way for recreational businesses to make more money.
I can promise you this. The government did not start this time-shifting crap for the working man/woman. I can promise you there are dollars involved somewhere.

I totally agree....hate this time change!
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteAnd how I love the image you gave us today.
I do enjoy watching my TV time change from 1:59 to 1:00 or 1:59 to 3:00. It's like a NYE tradition watching the ball drop only without the champagne.
ReplyDeleteOne of your BEST photos!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Farmers are out on their tractors at 11pm at night because they have lights so that is for the birds. I wish they would just stop this and keep this time all year long. Love your photo
ReplyDeleteNo one like changes, me included. We live in such a competitive world. It would be so much better if we would go with the natural flow of nature.
ReplyDeleteA lovely photo.
Hugs, Julia
While I do appreciate getting the hour back that we lost last Spring, I really wish they would just do away with the time change. It's a hassle and by the time I get all the clocks set right, I might as well just leave them set at what they are. In the kitchen alone there is the microwave, the coffee maker, the toaster oven and the stove clocks. Most of the time I just check the time on my phone anyway.
ReplyDeleteI wish day light savings time was year round. I like me longer days.

I don't like the time change, either. I went out yesterday at about 6 p.m. to vote. When I left the polling station, it was dark.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Doesn't both me but when daylight savings drags on it bugs me
ReplyDeleteCalifornia has Prop 7 on the ballot, which would allow CA legislature to revert back to regular old time. If it passes, WILL our legislature bend to this? Arizona and Utah already have it.
ReplyDeleteRetired teacher here--students struggle with the time changes.
