It seems like weeks since we've seen the sun. Today there was not the first cloud in the sky. The wind was cool, but the sun was warm on my face.
After a few laps of our walk, I laid down. Caillou must have been enjoying the sun too because he came over and flopped down beside me. Jilda snapped a picture.
When I was a kid, I spent hours lying on my back watching the clouds and listening to the sound of the breeze or many the caws of a murder of crows in the distance.
I'm not sure what happens when we get older, but for some reason, we don't take the opportunity to view life from the best vantage points.

A good reminder. We need to remember to see things through the eyes of a child and experience the wonder of our surroundings.
ReplyDeleteSo right Rick. Thanks for sharing (and Jilda for 1st photo).

Great picture, but isn't the ground cold?
ReplyDeleteThat's the best way to be grounded by laying on the ground and looking at the beautiful sky and absorbing the sun energy after many days of constant rain. It revives the soul.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Hugs, Julia
I hope I am never too jaded to marvel at clouds. And admire your flexibility. I wouldn't get up from that position easily.
ReplyDeleteYou make sense (in a crazy sort of way!!!) Oh yes I remember flying kites and just laying there holding the string, feeling the tug and watching the clouds make pictures for me.
ReplyDeleteImma gonna have to do that sometime when no one is watching. LOL
Good one my friend,
Sherry & jack
